"We approached AI Origin Nexus when our warehouse data was a mess. Within six weeks, their predictive stocking model cut our overstock by 31%. Real numbers, not a sales pitch."
— Rhian Tewkesbury, operations lead at Glanmor Logistics, Swansea"Their team sat with our nurses and built a triage-assist tool that actually works with the NHS workflow. No other vendor even tried to understand our constraints."
— Dr Idris Kamara, clinical informatics, Cwm Taf health boardArtificial Intelligence services rooted in Old Braunbury, built for real problems
We are a small, focused AI consultancy based in south Wales. Our work sits at the intersection of machine learning engineering, data pipeline design and honest advice about what automation can and cannot do for your organisation. We have been operating from Norman Orchard since 2021, serving manufacturers, logistics firms, healthcare providers and local councils across Wales and the south-west of England.
Most AI vendors sell toolkits. We sell outcomes: fewer manual hours, sharper forecasts, clearer decisions. If a spreadsheet solves your problem better than a neural network, we will tell you that too.
Is AI the right fit for your problem?
You have data but no insight
If your team exports CSV files from three systems every Monday just to build a report, we can automate the pipeline and surface the patterns hiding in the noise. Typical turnaround for a first dashboard: two to four weeks.
You repeat decisions that follow rules
Loan approvals, quality checks on a production line, appointment scheduling. These are classification problems. A well-trained model handles them faster and more consistently than a tired human at 4 pm on a Friday.
You need forecasts, not guesses
Demand planning, energy usage, staff rostering. Time-series models trained on your own historical data beat gut instinct. We build them in Python, deploy them on your existing cloud, and hand you the keys.

| Natural language processing | Document classification, sentiment analysis, chatbot prototypes | 3–6 weeks | Remote |
| Computer vision | Defect detection, object counting, safety-cam analytics | 6–12 weeks | ✓ On-site calibration |
| Data engineering | ETL pipelines, warehouse design, real-time streaming | 2–5 weeks | Remote / hybrid |
| AI strategy advisory | Readiness audit, roadmap, vendor evaluation, board briefing | 1–2 weeks | ✓ In-person preferred |

How a Bridgend bakery used computer vision to cut waste by 22%
Tŷ Bara, a mid-sized bakery supplying supermarkets across south Wales, was throwing away roughly one in five loaves because of inconsistent proving times. Their bakers knew the dough by feel, but shift changeovers introduced variation.
We installed two cameras above the proving racks and trained a lightweight image-classification model on 1,400 labelled photos. The system now alerts the baker when a batch reaches optimal rise. Training took eleven days. The cameras cost under £200 each. The waste reduction paid for the entire project within two months.
That is the kind of AI we believe in: specific, measurable, and cheaper than the problem it solves.
Your route from question to working model
Discovery call
A 30-minute conversation. We ask about your data, your pain points and your budget. No slides, no jargon. If AI is not the answer, we say so and suggest alternatives.
Data audit
We review your existing data sources, check quality and coverage, and write a short feasibility report. This usually takes three to five working days and costs a fixed fee.
Build and validate
We develop the model, test it against held-out data, and iterate with your domain experts until accuracy meets the agreed threshold. You see working prototypes, not PowerPoint.
